Kalamazoo Area Resources
- Office of LBGT Student Services at WMU - This is a great resource for anyone interested in learning more about the LGBT community. There is a resource room with a lending library of books and movies, as well as opportunities to volunteer with SpeakOUT.
- Kalamazoo Gay and Lesbian Resource Center - Located close to both K-college and WMU, the KGLRC has a lending library of books and movies for you to check out free of charge. There is always something going on with the KGLRC, whether it is a Transgender group meeting, a movie night, or a field trip.
- Arcus Foundation - It seeks to contribute to a pluralistic society that celebrates diversity and dignity, invests in youth and justice and promotes tolerance and compassion.
- Kalamazoo Alliance for Equality (KAFE) - This local group works towards obtaining equal rights for the LGBT community in the Kalamazoo Metro area and beyond.

- PFLAG Richland Area
- Michigan Equality - Uses political power to achieve equal rights for GLBT persons.
- Triangle Foundation - Michigan's leading organization serving GLBT people and thier allies. They have become the dominant force for advocacy and change regarding GLBT issues in Michigan public policy, religion, business, education, and bias-crime victim assistance. They have tons of information and links.
- Transgender Michigan - A Michigan organization for transgender people.
